Can anyone please enlighten me on what weapons the Marines (specialists) are supposed to be armed with? It that supposed to be a reising machine gun? If so what are the other weapons?

Ones on either end look like the popular Johnson rifle. Generally considered one of the worst weapons ever designed. The center two have sawed off shotguns?

Nice looking figures. I'll consider getting some of the Japanese to bolster my forces. Need to get painting on what I have first!

Thanks Lon and Bruce for this release of miniatures. The USMC Raiders can now be achieved with these weapons that were unique to them in the early campaigns of the South-West Pacific.

For anyone interested in raising a Raider unit please look at the Osprey Battle Orders "US Special Warfare Units in the Pacific Theater 1941-45" which will provide a breakdown of weapon systems used by the raider platoons.

The Japanese look excellent and will look very nice alongside the other codes currently available.

Incredible work from the talented Mr Paul Hicks, thanks Paul.

Thank you,

Helen
