I recently purchased some "1:285 or 1:300" scale aircraft from someone through ebay. They are clearly not 1:300, but they are bigger than 1:600. My question is this: Did anyone ever make ~1:450 scale? My Br20 has a 2" wingspan. Thanks |

Sounds like the old (and OOP) "Air Power" range – 1/432. |

Yea, probably the 1/432 scale minis. They were quite nice. On the undersides of the wings, there may be an engraving showing the scale, and model name, at least on some of them that I've seen. Too bad they are OOP. |

Yep, have the engravings. Aircraft type along with what I assume is the model in the series: 5/42, etc. Since I game only in 1/300, is there any value in these minis? I have Br20s, B26s, and an A-20. Thanks for the help. |

I've got lots of 1/432 scale. I use them to try out new painting techniques, new colors, etc. and use them as targets in airfield attack scenarios with my 1/300 planes (the One True Scale for air combat). So in that sense they have value, though it is not monetary. |
