Is there realy no source for 25mm ironclads and ironsides? They could be even in up to 1\60? Looking for a HMS worrior, Gloire, SMS Arminius, phanter or wespe. In Resin, wood or tin. in think they should be between 80cm and 1m ( about a yard). Any Ideas besides houston Greetings and Thanks for helping |

Look into paper models, might find something useful. |

Take a look at my blog, they are easy enough to scratchbuild if you are so inclined. If you are looking for a yard-long model from resin it would weigh a ton and be desperately fragile. If you like what you see on my blog I might be convinced to scratchbuild some for you; link and link Contact me at daftrica89 at yahoo . com It takes me about a week of steady work to build one although a much larger model like the Warrior would take longer. A true scale model of the Warrior would be very large indeed; she was 380ft between perpendiculars which would mean the model would be well over six feet (two meters)in length. A model that has the characteristics of the Warrior and possesses the appearance could be done at about two/two and a half feet. I live in the metro Detroit area so shipping might be expensive if you live in Germany. |

If you decide to build your own – Reviresco has the guns and ship fittings you will need. See them at: tin-soldier.com/colonial.htm I hope you find this interesting. John McEwan |
