Please accapt my apologies for asking in English, my French is terrible and I thought it better not to insult your language by mis-using it.
I am gathering information about the Armored Cruiser Dupuy de Lome and I hope to find sectional drawings of the hull. A google search gets me lots of poor-quality photos and a few side-view drawings but little else. I was hoping that someone could point me in the right direction.

Thank you in advance, Anton

Sorry Anton – I've seen this message, I looked at Google too and I found the same pics as you did.

Did you try the Musée de la Marine
musee-marine.fr

It says they have an archeologist, Mr. Rieth who supports the students working on research.

However if you really need support from them it can be a challenge to explain seriously what you want and what you need it for!

Thanks Patrice, I will give them a try. The worst they can do is say no.

Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

The worst they can do is say no.

If it were the Musée de l'Armée in Paris, I would say "the worst they can do is not answering and it is what they will probably do".
The Musée de la Marine may be more sensible.

Thanks Patrice,

I had the good fortune to spend most of a week doing the "museum tour" in Paris back in 2000, most impressive and the staffs were very helpful. Maybe I can get lucky?

I will try the Musée de la Marine first.
