I intend to continue purchasing Perry Italians and other European Armies releases. They also have arquebusiers on the workbench:
The command (mounted and foot) as well as the clergy released over a month ago are superb. Ordered them as soon as they were released. |

Now that, plus the appropriate plastic, is very tempting for some late 15th century skirmish. |

It just occurred to me that the Perry range is the human version of Skaven! I knew there was a reason I am drawn to them. |

And some people probably thought I was daft, when suggesting they actually make Italian Wars figs. Glad to see they thought it was a good idea. |

Cool, could use a few to add some variety in the mercs So
.Landschneckt when!?! Maybe even in plastic? |
Griefbringer | 12 Jul 2012 3:41 a.m. PST |
For late 15th century landsknechts, you could just use the plastic mercenary set and the metal pikemen they have available already. Remember that these Italians are primarily intended for the 1450-1500 period. |

Wow! I knew I always wanted a late C15th Italian army so I can have a Carrocio. What's that I hear? Could it be my wallet sobbing? |
Perdido | 12 Jul 2012 5:06 a.m. PST |
Remember that these Italians are primarily intended for the 1450-1500 period. Yes. Pre-Italian Wars (i.e. before 1494). Although some figures would probably be suitable for the earliest part if the Italian Wars. I am not so sure that Carroccio were used by the mid to late 15th century. I'd like to see evidence. I thought it was a 14th century and earlier "thing." |

Gush states that Carroccio survived through the 15th Century but does not say by which cities at which battles. Interesting. I'd love to see Gush's sources--his accuracy is not always on the mark. |
