An awesome one-off kit – Battlefront's "Sturer Emil". More pics on my blog here

Nice model. FYI, the Jagdtiger carried a 128mm, albeit a tad shorter, and more than 2 were made. . Still less than 100, though, so even that could sort of be considered an anomaly. Doug |

Only 9 Dianas were ever made, but somehow they are not confined to the Mid War Monsters weirdness. link |

Only 9 Dianas were ever made, but somehow they are not confined to the Mid War Monsters weirdness. True but at least the Dianas were sold individually rather than in boxed sets containing more models than the total historical production run of the vehicle. |

The Bunkerflaks started as MidWar Monsters and then someone (apparently) did some more research and discovered that they saw about as much use as Dianas. |

I would like to see BF make some more experimental vehicles. I enjoyed the MWM I painted. |

Only 9 Dianas were ever made, but somehow they are not confined to the Mid War Monsters weirdness. When you have been wargaming for years it is sometimes a nice break to paint something a bit different for a change. I enjoy that. As long as one does not see whole regiments of rare vehicles I cant see the harm. |

" As long as one does not see whole regiments of rare vehicles I cant see the harm." You mean like KV-85s and IS-85s ? LES |

Mind you Les, when we talk 'rare' for those particular types, it is still a hundred plus versus the 9 or less for most other models, so it isn't as bad if that helps :) Chatto |
