Hi i completed these 3 1/48th scale plastic kits for a customer who games the war in chechnya.
After checking around various sources i found that early in the war most T80's were dark green, sothese are later vehicles with camouflade added.
Regards.

Bloody hell! those are amazing. They look like they should be in a museum or something far to good to game with :)

Is that a missile launcher behind the turret of the BTR? I haven't seen that configuration before.

Thanks guys, hi TBeyer, yes those are AT5's.

Great job on those Kitech models.

I don't know that the AT5 missiles on the BTR exist anywhere other than on these Kitech kits, but it still looks great.

Really nice job.

Ray,
That is excellent work. The more so given the quality of those Kitech kits.
Thanks for sharing.

Tnk – outstanding job!

GregB – I haven't seen the AT mounted on a BTR like that either and believe me, I've looked. Same with the SAM Turret on the other Kitech BTR. However, both the SAM and ATGM turret are the correct ones to use if you've a hankering to do some conversions based on the HLBS resin BRDM and MTLB. I just completed a 9P148 (BRDM w AT-5) ATGM carrier using the Kitech AT-5 turret. The SAM turret works wonderfully with the HLBS BRDM to make an SA-9 or the MTLB to make an SA-13 Gopher.
