From the plates of M.Henri y M.Claude Achard on Canovas link. link Interesting that the musicians were in blue. Have my doubts about the cavalry. Amicalement Armand |

well, the cavalry has nothing to do with Neufchatel? They're simply the 2nd Lighthorse-Lancers. Cordialement, Blancard |

I suspect that mon ami Blancard. But
as they were with the rest of Neufchatel plates
I read, a long time ago, that Berthier decided to conform a Cavalry Squadron, but maybe there were the "Gardes d'Honneur". Amicalement Armand |

I seem to recall a cavalry unit of Neufchatel, white uniform, dragoons with classic Line brass helmet. My Napoleonic stuff if packed away for the move that may never happend. GdeP |

The Garde d'Honneur of Neuchatel wore a very striking uniform indeed, a bit like the French guard dragoons but in white instead of green, I believe they never went into "action" , but still a nice uniform |
