I'd like to avoid GIMP/Photoshop type of programs
I've tried to use them and just don't have the patience for it. Are there any programs, free or pay, that the user can add color and images to the hexes (trees, shrubs, roads, rivers, etc
)? The easier to use, the better, but if it's less complicated than GIMP/PS then let me have it! :) Thanks |

There are multiple programs available for BattleTech that would work. A commercial one is HeavyMetal, but there are lots of free ones too. |

I use Cyberboard which has separate Design and Play components; it has lots of gamesets available and you will find anything you want. Also, you can use a bitmap for the background and design over it – useful for real maps. |
