I have acquired two different lots of TYW/ECW miniatures. Most of these miniatures are Wargames Foundry, Bicorne and Warlord Games, with a few others thrown in there as well (Perry for one).

Wargames Foundry, Perry and Warlord all seem to go together pretty well to the point I would mix them together in units if I needed to. The Bicorne are substantially bigger. I have seen posts that indicate the Bicorne, Redoubt and Renegade match up pretty well although I haven't been able to put them side by side like I could with the others.

Since I have some holes to fill I was wondering where the TAG Renaissance line might fit into all of this? Are they more compatible with Wargames Foundry, Perry and Warlord or closer to Bicorne, Redoubt and Renegade? For that matter what about Artizan, where do they fall in this mix?

I would like to get an order off to somebody pretty quickly here since I need to finish this army off for Tacticon in Denver on Labor Day weekend.

I have some of the TAG TYW figures and they are not the same 'size' as the Renegade/Bicorne figures. They fit well with Foundry.

I have Renegade, Redoubt, Warlord, Foundry, and Old Glory all mixed together.

Foundrys are the shortest. If as you say, TAG's are closer to Foundry then they're probably ok to mix in also. I don't have any so I can't say.

I would not equate Redoubt and Renegade with Bicornes.

Are Redoubt and Renegade larger or smaller than Bicorne then?

Many of the earlier Renegade codes were sculpted by the same chap as the Bicorne miniatures ( or was it the other way around?). Thye should fit together fairly well. The Renegade ECW are a joy to paint, in fact they virtually paint themselves.

They're a bit more slight.
I'd have no problem mixing Bicornes in as well.
I just never have.

I mix Bicorne, Redoubt and Renegade. They look very compatible. I have TAG Renaissance figures, but not ECW. They are more "Foundry or Perry"-esque.

I like the TAG figures but IMHO they did not fit with the rest of my figures, simply to small.
The others were made by Renegade, Redoubt and Bicorne.

TAG and Bicorne are both Nick Collier sculpts.
Old Glory would fit in too but I tend to use them for pikemen.
These are Perrys, Foundry and TAG.

That's a very helpful comparison. For the pike and musket mixing in the occasional larger or smaller miniature is going to look fine. Cavalry is a completely different situation. The Wargames Foundry Cavalry that I have is significantly smaller than the Bicorne. The Foundry riders look like they are riding ponies compared to the Bicorne riders. I'll have to get some pictures posted of the difference there.
