I've posted some pictures of two bases of 15mm Early Imperial Romans on my blog at link I've had this crazy idea to try and build a Roman cohort as close to 1 figure = 1 man as I can get before realising it's a crazy idea. The command figures were the easy part. I have one century in process, 80 men and I've about 10 painted. |

1:1 sounds good to me. You can base them on 40mm side stands to use them in gaming too. Have a look at the AB ancients line that Eureka has. They have some interesting foot officer figures that others don't carry. Nice variation on armor too (not lorica). At least you aren't doing a legion at a 1:1 ratio. Now that is a crazy
