Hello, good people! Recently I got Warlord Games' Pike&Shotte rulebook and I decided to just sit down and learn the rules by playing a tiny little game instead of just reading the rulebook over and over until waiting for some point in the future when I could have an actual game. So there it is:
link I hope you find the article useful. It's probably aimed a bit more towards people new to historical wargaming but I hope that the more die-hard and dyed-in-the-wool crowds will find it enjoyable a read as well. If so (or if not), please let me know. Feedback is always welcome. :) |

Nice review – thanks for that. I don't find it very appealing, (I prefer DBR) but it gives me a good idea of what the game is about. |
