Did Jaegers (Danish, Prussian and Schleswig) during the First war fight as light infantry in loose formation and were they utilized as both skirmishers and shock troops? I am curious because I am trying to figure out how to best represent them in a wargame. In my rules ofchoice (Neil Thomas 19c Rules), there are options for close, loose and skirmishers. Thanks! |

Yes they fought in loose skirmish order. Not shock troops.
The Danish shock weapon was the first machine gun. |
