I noticed that no one seems to have reviewed the Proxie Models line of bases. I recently ordered a few so I wrote up a review of a batch of Proxie Models bases. It can be viewed here:link on the Chicago Skirmish Wargames blog.
Includes full measurements and comparisons to similar bases that folks will be familiar with. With a few caveats, I'm quite happy with what I received and have already based up quite a few fantasy miniatures with them. |

Glad you enjoyed it. Since I wrote the review, I've purchased some of the 40mm round "rough and rocky" bases and they are quite nice also.

A member of the club based a monster on one it, simply painting the base with no additional ballast or foliage and it looks great! |

Thanks for the reviews. Proxie Model bases do look good. Owner seems like a good fellow too. The sites owner is considering making larger bases, so I've suggested the 120mm x 95mm large oval [Trygon, Valkerie, LOTR Dragon] since those are hard to get at an affordable price stateside. BTW, what miniature / toy line is that motorcycle from? |
