I noticed that no one seems to have reviewed the Proxie Models line of bases. I recently ordered a few so I wrote up a review of a batch of Proxie Models bases. It can be viewed here:link on the Chicago Skirmish Wargames blog.

Includes full measurements and comparisons to similar bases that folks will be familiar with. With a few caveats, I'm quite happy with what I received and have already based up quite a few fantasy miniatures with them.

Great review. I was thinking of getting some soon.

Glad you enjoyed it. Since I wrote the review, I've purchased some of the 40mm round "rough and rocky" bases and they are quite nice also.

A member of the club based a monster on one it, simply painting the base with no additional ballast or foliage and it looks great!

Thanks for the reviews. Proxie Model bases do look good.

Owner seems like a good fellow too. The sites owner is considering making larger bases, so I've suggested the 120mm x 95mm large oval [Trygon, Valkerie, LOTR Dragon] since those are hard to get at an affordable price stateside.

BTW, what miniature / toy line is that motorcycle from?

oops, meant 120mm x 94mm large oval.
