Well we know that lots of folks from the Northeast "won't" follow…

Wish I was there….

A lot of folks from up here (the Northeast) ARE coming! I didn't think I could (just due to schedule conflicts) but that recently changed and I am there. Lots of folks from Boston Battlegroup are coming if the mail list is any indication.

Quite a few of us from Connecticut as well!

There will be a few of us Pennsylvanians holding the line (and the Tabletop) at Historicon as well. Looking forward to it. Steady boys, steady…

I will be there with two of my brothers in tow (my much older brother is known to some of you as brass1).

At 11:00 on saturday I will be hosting a battle of Tuyuti game,(S-211 Swamp of Blood – Tuyuti 1866) please drop by.

Oh, and I read the book – following Lewis A. Armistead may not be the best long range career plan.

I'm coming from Nashville. Used to be a member of BattleGroup Boston years ago – which is how I got started.

This Virginian will be there (I'll be in Russia, running a CrossFire game, though!)F-187 "Rat Krieg, der Kursk weg" and again on Sat. S-188. Hope to see some of yall there!

Michigan and Massachusetts will be represented by me and Dick Bryant. We are putting on a Don Featherstone American Civil War game from his 50-year-old book War games. Original S A E and Scruby figures and retro terrain.

I'll be driving from Wisconsin. Wouldn't miss it for the world and Fredericksburg is legions better than Lancaster. That hotel and the city too was a dump. Good riddance!

Not going out of hope they'll move it back to it's proper home. Hope everyone has fun though.

We've slipped through the blockade with a fresh load of new armaments and sundries from England and will happily be there selling supplies-to both sides!

The New York crew from TWS is looking forward to attending. And maybe even getting in a few games. I have heard from many of our NE customers that they are going and running games as well.

I find it ironic that the closer you are, the less likely you are to attend because the trip is "too far"

Tennessee is gathering donations, however scant they be, in preparation of the long march north next week! Hopefully, we will be able to provision ourselves mightily in the mercantile hall.

A small contingent from Weymouth UK will be there assaulting or holding the wall.

I look forward to representing the great state of Maryland. Of course, I haven't chosen which side we'll fight on – lets see how things go before making any rash decisions.

I'm looking forward to Fredericksburg – don't listen to the naysayers – the traffic in DC is a joy to expereince – it's like a fine wine that needs to be savored in a leisurely and unhurried manner. In fact the single best vintage will be encountered crossing the Potomac into Virginia via the Legion Bridge at 5:15 any weekday evening.

I used to live next door to Armistead's great grandson-he was a , I couldn't see him leading a charge to anything but a Victoria's Secret sale. He was totally unimpressed with his great grandfather-sad.

Went through DC today from Gettysburg – 4.5 hours to Hampton on the Peninsula, where the Armistead family lived.

The Wife and I will be there.. All the way from Buffalo… And that's like almost Canada..

Can't wait to see everyone..

Good to see so many replying in the affirmative and not the bunch of "slap in the face" whiners we have had complaining in the past. Here's another NC gamer heading up with a carload of buddies!

I will be there with my rapidly-aging younger brother (John the [only in his own mind] Greater) and our mutual younger brother, the Dark Master, who has risen from his accustomed (much warmer) abode just for the occasion. Just so JtG won't have to spend a couple of hours staring at empty chairs and muttering to his painted-daubed miniatures ("Nasty gamerses! We hates them!") we've signed up to play his Tutti-frutti (or whatever it is) game.
