Hello, I am a new member and I am mad about Napoleonic naval wargaming and painting. I just finished a 1/700 skytrex model and wanted to receive some comments on it, however I am unsure on how to add photos, can someone help? |

Gorgeous, how well did it go together? |

The masts were a little fiddly, but altogether it was not too bad. It's a shame skytrex does not do these any more. I'm currently working on the Bellerophon and I am also completing several 1:1200 Langton US navy models. I will upload photos shortly. |

Beautiful! I especially love the base. How did you get the wave effect? |

Very nicely done! Did you use Langton's rigging guide? |

Having rigged many langton ships, I have heavily taken inspiration from that, however I mostly tried to follow the skytrex instructions. The sea based I sculpted myself in milliput, I am not much of a sculptor, but it was fun to do the waves and wake. I then painted, drybrushed, washed and finally highlighted it with several increasingly whiteish shades of blue/green |
