Hi Folks I gave it a go. Checkout commandpostproductions.co under the workbench page. I painted some Russian Musketeers, based for Napoleon's Battles. Dave Hall ABQ |

Look good to me. The idea of painting Nappy uniforms in 28mm leaves me cold let alone 15mm. You keep the rest to that standard you'll have a fine looking army indeed. |

That's your first attempt? Really well done! For any attempt! Like! |

They are nice, especially considering they're your first attempt at Nappys. Now only another thousand to go. ;-) |

Thanks for the kind remarks. Though they are my first attempt at 15mm and Napoleonics, I have been painting 1/72 scale figures for years. I must confess my eyes hurt! Dave |

Those look very nice! I am new into Napoleonic painting as well. I have been in the 15mm gaming for a while with Flames of War, but 15mm Napoleonics is something of a different beast! So many colors and detail rich minis. One thing that really helped me (even with my 26 year old 20/20 vision eyes) is that I purchased an LED lamp with a magnifying lens on it. The lens helps to magnify the detail and if nothing else, the clean white light helps me see the detail so i know where to paint. Highly recommended! |

I'm pretty much down to magnifing head wear to paint, didn't have to even 10 years ago. |

I am working on a second batch of 12 figures to finish the 2nd brigade. 12 is a much easier number to work with without getting frustrated. What batch sizes do you all use? Thanks Dave ABQ |
