Random wargamers start kickstarter campgians just for money to buy more figures.
"Hello I'm a wargame a holic, I need your money so i can buy figures with out selling my children to slavery, if you do not suport child slavery, please give me money, my goal is $250 USD 000. You do not get anything in retun except knowing you did a good thing"

Gads. I hope that never happens. I am pretty tight fisted anyway. If it does happen, I won't be encouraging the behavior. Also, you don't see a dime unless the goal is reached. So, the monies would almost certainly have to be pretty modest. $100 USD or something. |

If you don't buy a minimum dollar amount of miniatures each year, the new SCOTUS ruling says that the Gov't can assess a penalty for non compliance to said-minimum purchase of miniatures, ergo taxation will benefit others because of your "addiction". Caveat Emptor!… |

I've already seen someone start one up to get a PS3 as he's the only one without one!!!
