Hi , just beginning playing around with sculpting.
My question is for building armatures for 15 mm work.
What type of wire and size should I try?
Also for beginning, should I start in 15 or some other scale?
Would you suggest working on heads first, then fitting them to the bodies
?
Have got some 22 gauge floral wire, but was wondering if I could use paper clips, bent, as well?
Any input appreciated

Hey Thor,

Here's a link to lots of useful resources:

This is about armatures:

I can't answer your specific questions as such, I'm a relative novice and began with 6mm, and am now currently working on 10mm. 15mm is the size in vogue, it seems, at least for sci-fi, so perhaps I'll join you in that soon enough. Anyway, advice and info is plentiful, but most important ingredients are desire and patience, I'd say. Green Stuff is kinda handy too wink

Have fun!

Regards, TC.
