My sister has stuck her nos into a couple of my Napoleonics tomes and come to this conclusion. Napoleon did so poorly In Spain against Wellington due to his Lordship having a better class of camp followers. Do you; A)Agree? B)Disagree? C)Really think the camp followers need more boobies? |

But the Spanish Campfollowers the French had were extensively mustached as much as the Old Guard. Where as, the Spanish Campfollwers the British had shaved so often they got a stiff upper lip. I read it somewhere on TMP so it has to be true. |

Not quite camp followers but Mayan Calendar girls are in a related line of business. mayancalendargirls.com (a touch unsafe for work) |

were they in the uniform of the unit? No, as they are not a part of the unit, per se, but rather contract providers that would wear their distinguishing mercenary unit colors. I always make sure I check the Osprey South-Central to Western European Camp Followers (Thursday, 22nd January 1807-Friday, 1st October 1819) before I paint mine up. |
