Hi all: Wargamers' Terrain is attending Historicon. Yes this is a selfish plug, but since this is our first foray into a major convention (since I retired from the computer industry) I felt you guys would be kind and would not mind. We (my wife and I) are quite excited and a tad nervous about the whole thing, but nothing ventured nothing gained
Cheers to all
.Hope to see you there. Happy gaming.. Joe |

I'll stop by to look. Your website is very well illustrated; but I may need to examine even more closely the difference between a swamp and a bog! |

Your booth is probably the one I'm most looking forward to visiting. I've checked out your website numerous times in the past, but I don't generally buy terrain without seeing it in person. Now I'll have my chance. See you soon! |

If you click on the 'more information' in FlexMarshes you will see the difference between a bog and a swamp and there is also a link to a wiki definition. I will be putting up a TMP badge sign on my table so we can 'Meet and Greet', so to speak. It will be nice to match a face to a
.handle! :-) chin chin Joe |

I'm not a dealer so I can't comment on what your experience will be, but as a gamer I've always thought that each miniature wargamer should go to Historicon at least once. Kinda like the Haj. |

Will you have stock for sale or will you just be displaying and taking orders? |
| Gonsalvo | 07 Jul 2012 10:05 a.m. PST |
Great news; I'll be eager to look over some of your products first hand. Hope you have a very sucessful show! |

sma1941 said: "Will you have stock for sale or will you just be displaying and taking orders?" Great question. We will have both stock on hand and be taking orders. I'm working hard to make all the things displayed on my recently updated website and to bring them. I may or may not be succesful..time will tell. If at the convention I run out of stock I will take orders. I will also take custom orders if anyone is interested. Cheers and thanks to all for your well wishes
my fingers are certainly crossed! :-) |

If you have a webpage post a link so we can see what you will be bringing. :-) |
HeadlessHessian | 08 Jul 2012 12:12 p.m. PST |
Yes I do have a webpage, here it is: wargamersterrain.com I will be bringing FlexRivers Standard, FlexRoads Standard, FlexMarshes, FlexFields, Worm Fences square wood, FlexStone Fences for 25mm figures
and whatever else I can build by then. I am bringing my personal FlexRiver Deluxe for the two Scenarios I plan to conduct at the Dealer area (20mm HintonHunt Napoleonic game for 4). TMP is suppose to be posting a couple of stories for me. We just received TradeMark Status for all our FlexTerrain products, and we are going to HIstoricon and I just updated our entire website. There will also be a movie (stop motion) coming up as soon as the director is done with it. I think that about covers it. :-) cheers one tired HeadlessHessian! :-) |

I've bought Joe's products for many, many years. I can attest its VERY good. Best roads, I've ever bought pre-made. His flex rivers are quite well done; I have a good friend that is currently purchasing several thousands of $$ of Joe's products and is very pleased with them. I've looked it all over and his quality has not slipped a bit over the past decade or so. In fact, Joe, I will get with you to try to get the color of the custom [depth] stream I'm looking for. My buddy likes blue, I'm more of a brownish/clear guy myself. Great stuff, I think you will be pleased with the craftmanship if you are in the market for terrain. |

Hi Rick: "In fact, Joe, I will get with you to try to get the color of the custom [depth] stream I'm looking for. My buddy likes blue, I'm more of a brownish/clear guy myself." I am bringing a section I made of the Deluxe type 3" wide, with what I think may be the color scheme you are looking for. After all these years over email it will be good to meet my customers. Cheers all |

Joe, I also am looking forward to meeting you and talking about getting some fields and marshes. |
HeadlessHessian | 09 Jul 2012 2:03 p.m. PST |
great! I'll be bringing some and taking orders too. cheers |
| firstvarty1979 | 09 Jul 2012 5:15 p.m. PST |
I'd like to see the rivers in a brownish color too! |
HeadlessHessian | 09 Jul 2012 6:52 p.m. PST |
Certainly can do!! The issue here is just what shade of brown..or green or whatever your color preference is
So what I do is ask that the customer pick the paint
and send it to me. This has happened a few times. I just make the river normally but use their paint. My only criteria is that it be water based paint, which most are these days. I'll try to handle any request within reason since custom work is a good part of my work, but if I cannot do it you will know upfront. :-) |

Good luck sir, we won't be going this year, a show to far and a far to expensive show for us anyway. Chris P. and Art F. |

Thanks to all that came by our booth. It was certainly our pleasure to meet so many of our customer base. We had a good convention and did quite well selling out of a number of our items. Thanks again to all of you for making Historicon, our first con, a major success. cheers Joe |
