Nice to see the whole company on parade, very effective presentation. What was the ratio of M-79's v's M203's in the late 70's TOE? |

Looks Good
I was an active duty Infantry Officer(Light and Mech) '79-'90. By '78-'79 all M79s were replaced by M203s
I hated those green fatigues. Liked the old jungle fatigues we could wear in Panama

As soon as I can find some M16/M203 armed figs, I'll replace the M79s for the most part. That reminds me, I need to start lobbying Peter Pig to make some. I have heard a couple Gaurd/Reserve guys say that they still had the M79 into the late 1970s, one as late as 1981, but I imagine that was pretty rare. |

Lol funny about the green fatigues. When I was in the Air Force I loved the green fatigues and hated the new BDUs. I was happy once I went into the medical field and could wear whites all the time. Same material as the old green fatigues, plus they were issued to us, so free uniforms. After 911 was stuck wearing BDUs all the time, so I started wearing my blues when ever I could. |

Yeah, I wouldn't be too surprised to find out that NG/Res still had a few floating around. Hey in '75 when I started cadet training, we were issued M14s ! And doug, the green fatigues were terrible for field use, but if you weren't a Grunt, I'd imagine it wouldn't matter much
