How do you do a wedge in subsequent rounds? For example: I had a Macedonian Companion unit charge some enemy cavalry. The wedge won the combat, but the enemy passed the break test. I am confused because: The wedge only flattens if it lost – but it didn't lose. On the other hand, the wedge combat bennies only apply when it charges – but here it isn't charging anymore. Would it go with just the figure at the apex attacking whatever it is contact with? |

I would think that if the enemy was not obliged to leave then the wedge would flatten out. I don't know WAB 2.0 but that is what I would think would happen in RL. |

Per WAB 2.0 rules, you remain in wedge until you loose a round of combat or flatten out, take a look at page 7 of AoA2. As long as you are winning and have not been flattened out for other reasons (being attacked in the flank or rear). The wedge is really tough until it loses combat or flattens out. |
