Just wanted to remind folks that you can see the entire 28mm Middle Eastern building range from Crescent Root Studios at Historicon on Friday from 11 am to 5 pm. I am running a Sudan game that starts at noon (Exhibit Hall A; Table: EA-083), but I welcome folks to come up and examine the quality of these buildings while I am setting up and taking down the game. I am available to ask any questions you might have. You will also be able to check out the 28mm Darkest Africa river boats and gun boats from John Jenkins Design in person. Though they are for the Darkest Africa range, I think they work quite well for the Sudan. The figures are from Perry, both metal and plastic. Here is a link to the Crescent Root 28mm Mid East buildings and also the site for the John Jenkins Design boats. link link |

Will Crescent Root 28mm Middle Eastern buildings be sold at Historicon? I've been making a list of things to look for and those buildings are on that list. You spoke of Friday as the Sudan game day, but will you be selling on Saturday as well? This is my first trip to Historicon so I don't really know who the sellers are. Thanks. Richard |

Hi Richard, I am not a dealer, but I have been known to sell off the terrain after a game. Make a list and then e-mail me what you want and we can make arrangements for Friday after 4pm. E-mail me at: andersintl at Aol Put Crescent root in the title of the subject. Matthew |

Crescent Root makes great buildings. I've got several. The Mosque is amazing. |

@ Tin Soldier Man The shipping rates are very good to the UK. With the strength of the British Pound over the US Dollar, I think it would be well worth an e-mail to Mark at Crescent Root Studios |

@richardDISNEY – Yes, those boats are very nice. And they are very easy to assemble. I have asked for a larger boat, or even a steamer for pulp games, but John is a very busy man. He is doing a lot in 60mm at the moment. |

Matthew, I appreciate the offer, but I was hoping for the unpainted buildings. They look good and the price is right. I like to think that I'm a pretty capable painter myself so I stay away from pre-painted buildings whenever possible/saves me money and I tend to repaint just to get everything on the board with the same color feel. I'm sorry I'll be missing your game on Friday. I saw the demo posting and it looks great. Thanks again for the offer. Richard |

Hi Richard. Yes, the unpainted versions are very nice. Feel free to swing by to at least get an idea of size and such. Matthew |
