Just went to the website to order 1 pack of the US leather MA, 1 pack of the same command, and a pack of the rifles.

Mailing to Canada on the $36.00 USD order was going to be $64.00 USD!!!!

I know there're still some hard feelings about the way the war ended…but that can't be right…

Is it just me or do the guys in pack look very happy?

I just tried the same order to the UK and it came out as $100 USD though I dint check through any alternate shipping offers if there were any

Terry at North Bay Games ordered some Blue Moon wild west stuff for me. He doesn't stock them, so it took a litle longer to get them, but he was really helpful and it sure didn't cost me that much!

This has been explained and explained --

THAT CERTAINLY WOULD NOT BE THE SHIPPING FOR AN ORDER OF THAT SIZE TO ANY COUNTRY.
With a simple E-mail one could easily discover that and using About the same amount of time it took to post here. Our site says we will adjust for the postage and credit paypal back or adjust before we run your credit card. If you are international you could also put postal in the payment and in the comment section request a paypal payment when the price is figured out.
That small of an order would fall under our $9.00 USD USD minumum shipping cost.

Good to hear…that is in line with most US mailings to Canada, but I still have no response on the email I sent about that to BM. I'll give the time discrepancy when I get a response from BM.

Why one should be be-littled for posting AND emailing, I'm unclear on.

I'm no neophyte user at TMP (though the job situation precludes being a paid member at the moment), and I've been following Blue Moon threads with a fair degree of vigour here, through the FIW releases, awaiting the Napoleonics, and then awaiting the 1812 line. I have not found any 'disregard what your check out totals are…BM will not charge you that' threads that I can recall.

And I'd be a terrible customer if I assumed the totals at checkout were not what I was agreeing to, or expected to pay.

I have always found the Old Glory ladies to be extremely helpful. I often put in large orders to be sent to Australia.

Postage is what it says on the box.

Often we use Flat Rate boxes and we discuss additions or subtractions to the order so the order fits inside the space/weight restrictions. They are great to work with.

I do not think I 'belittled" anyone -- no name calling, etc and certainly apologize if it came across that way. I just wanted it to be clear to everyone that reads this thread that those are not the eventual shipping charges.
That being said -- I personaly still find it easier to go right to the source with problems/questions of this type and wait for a response right from the horses mouth.

Any chance that Blue Moon will do "infantry service" US Light Dragoons? That is, helmets and short jackets, but boots replaced with shoes, riding breeches with trousers and equipped with musket, bayonet and infantry cartridge box? These guys were a major portion of the US defenders at Black Rock and Sackets Harbor in 1813, and I do not know anyone who makes them.

In all of our ranges we will finish the initial lists and then go back a fill in.

I've always fond the aides at old glory to be very helpful in regards to sorting out postage.

UpperCanada,

Your email arrived Friday after I was out of the office for the weekend. I just sent you an email this morning explaining how we adjust the totals to actual cost before running credit cards as Russ explained earlier here.

Kindest Regards,
Teresa
