I enjoy buying figures by different makers for my 15mm "armies." Most of my 7YW figures are Old Glory 15's, but I do have 48 musketeers; 48 fusiliers; and 48 grenadiers by Eureka 18's for my Prussians. I might add a unit or two of Essex Prussians, but do not like figures any smaller.

I looked into the Blue Moon figure selection, and the Hessian musketeers, fusiliers, and grenadiers look like the would pass very well for Prussians in the 7YW. Has anyone out there compared them to Old Glory 15's and Eureka for size, and equipment?

The Blue Moon "units" are cadre-weak, as I like to do 2 officers, 4 non-coms, 2 fahnen-Junkers; and 2 drummers in my 48 figure units. That will be a problem to face if I decide to buy Blue moons.

I currently have two battalions of Blue Moon AWI Hessian fusiliers doing service in my Eureka dominated SYW project. The fusiliers are slightly smaller than the Eureka Prussian musketeers but a little larger than the Eureka Prussian grenadiers. The Blue Moon figures are very close in size to Eureka's SYW Austrian musketeers. I like the Blue Moon figures quite a lot and their Hessian jaegers are exquisite.
