Uniforms link , which is a transaltion of listat.ru/T07/T07_03a.htm – in the Russian version, you will find, by number, links to the illustrations. From June 1797 to April 1802, Russian Jägers were organized it regiments, each of 2 battalions, each battalion of 5 Jäger companies. The units you want, I think, are these (the names varied, as shown) :
17.v.1797 7th Jäger regiment 31.x.1798 general-major prince Bagration's Jäger regiment 3.vi.1800 general-major graf Ivelich's Jäger regiment 29.iii.1801 6th Jäger regiment - shef (i.1799 – vi.1800) general-major prince Bagration Peter Ivanovich - commander (ix.1799 – xii.1799) colonel Khvitskiy Vasiliy Alekseevich - brick-red collar and cuffs, yellow buttons17.v.1797 8th Jäger regiment 31.x.1798 general-major Chubarov's Jäger regiment 13.i.1799 general-major Miller's Jäger regiment 29.iii.1801 7th Jäger regiment - shef (i.1799 – v.1799) general-major Chubarov Nikolay Andreevich - shef (v.1799 – v.1806) general-major Miller-3 Ivan Ivanovich - commander (ix.1799 – i.1800) colonel Vrangel' Ivan Fyodorovich - commander (iv.1800 – ix.1803) lt.-colonel (ix.1800 colonel) Golovachev Dmitry Petrovich - white collar and cuffs, yellow buttons

So essentially a green coat with white facings (cuff and collar), white breaches? I was just about to ask the same question myself as I just picked up a few of these chaps in 28mm. Any chance of some photos from behind Von W? |

Thanks Von Winterfeldt, just the ticket!!! Can you confirm they wore green pants in winter with a coloured (?) stripe down the leg? |
