Perusing Foundry's website today I noticed that the hordes contain models from packs that seem like they are no longer in production. Does this mean that the hordes were created before they stopped making those packs or does that mean that if one were to order a hordes deal today it would only consist of models they still have in production? As an example, their website shows two Zanziabari packs available to order, but their hordes Zanzibari deal shows the models being pulled from several packs including seven Zanzibari packs, five of which are no longer available for purchase. |

I recently asked them the same question about regiment packs. They said that "you will indeed receive models from the packs stated". So, according to Neil Littlewood, if they say you get X number of models from Pack Y, that's what you get, even if Pack Y is no longer available. There was no explanation of why certain figure packs are only available if you buy a ton of them, rather than as single packs. Inventory control, I suppose. Hope this helps, Mark |

Perhaps the mold is going bad and those figures are still ok. |

I recently asked them the same question about regiment packs. Any clue as to why some (infantry) hordes have 60 figures while another has 70? Case in point: BHIND001 – Indian Warrior Horde – 70 figures BHIND006 – Indian Hill Tribesmen Horde – 60 figures I have long wondered the justification for this? Cheers,

Two reasons for the different numbers of figures: most likely is that the packs are based on a certain number of 'spins' of the molds, some molds have more figures in them than others. Less likely, but still probable given Foundries history, is that they get/got their jollys from pi**ing off the customers. |
