Looks good! I'd distress the wood a bit and wash with ink for appearances sake, and historically, they held together better when on wheels. But nice piece.

Terrement what is your definition of distress? I usually ink my models but I was in a hurry. Also it is for Warhammer Fantasy Battle and I plan a larger one with a different configuration and wheels for historical use.

I will also post my build on my blog later.

I would guess Terrement is referring to adding marks, gouges, etc., to the wood, to give it a more weathered look. Washing with ink would bring these details out, as well.

One little nitpick, on a really nice piece of work: the projectile stone appears a bit large for the counterweight to hurl effectively, any distance; I would put a stone 1/2 to 1/3 that size, in the cloth loop, for hurling at the enemies. A nitpick, for sure, but I think it would make it more credible. They were massive engines, and you have captured that aspect very well. Cheers!
