Not sophisticated terrain, rather a how to for the sort of functional terrain that games played in clubs and homes where the board needs to be packed up at the end of the day demands.

I've covered rivers in the past but today I show how I made four massive hills for under a tenner. This is just one of them:

i recently had some made just like yours. however mine were based on plywood. this prevents damge to the base of the hills that'll show the bright foam beneath.

I mention the option of a wooden base, being perfectly honest I hadn't the available resources or inclination to base them; hopefully I won't regret that decision one the warhammer players get their grubby paws on them ;-)
