I have just received the first two painting guides from Regimentos de America. These are A4 PDF files in full colour showing the rank and file and officers of each regiment at the battle of maipo. The first two cover the 7th and 8th regiments of the Army of the Andes and, I understand, apart from working on the first plate for the Royalists they are also working on a plate for the 11th regiment. For anyone looking for painting information these are an indespensible source and for £3.17 GBP each seem to be good value as there is very little information readily available. link |

Do you plan to buy a seperate plate for each regiment at the battle? Doesn't that start to add up? |

Probably not, but then how much do gamers spend on reference materials over a period of time? |

We will release in May a full color illustrated version of the renowed Julio Luqui Lagleyze's book "The military corps in the Argentine history". For those who love the independence wars we will start with that period. regimientosdeamerica.com/index.php?p=2_9_Subscription
