Well, played another game of LOTR SBG. This time we focused in on the Deeping Wall. The Uruk Hai had a good start, and they breached the wall. However, Aragorn was way too strong and plugged the gap. Meanwhile, the Uruk Hai couldn't get down into the courtyard. The objective was to get 10 Uruk Hai behind the wall before the men of Rohan and some Galadhrim broke them. It was close but the Uruk Hai lost. The Uruk Hai had a 900 point army versus 800 point army for the good guys. The good guys had Aragorn, Gimli, Haldir, and Legolas with several Galadhrim archers and a dozen or so Rohan militia. It was more than enough. Here are the photos: link |

It looks like a fun game. That is a very practical wall. Nice build. |

It was. We built the wall ourselves, using the instructions in the Two Towers source book. Great directions. I can't build anything but the instructions were clear enough that I could actually build this thing. |
