I'm looking for rather standard dice with one custom side, club logo or other. Is there a company in the UK. Many thanks Helmet |

When you find a company, pass the name onto gripping beast. Their saga dice shortage is, well a ridiculous saga. Jaz 6sided.net |

If the link above does not get you what you need I know that our club got custom dice made so could find out who we used if you are still stuck. |

EM4 does some custom dice types. Not sure they do what you're specifically answering but they're good guys in my book. link |

I don't know about the UK, but on 125 Street in Harlem you can find custom dice on almost every streetcorner. "Roll dem bones, boy. Lay yo money down. 7 come 11." |

I second dice.co.uk . They did the dice for our club, and they were quite helpful, and put up with all my nonsense into thr bargain. :) |

Anyone able to comment how much difference that makes to weight and balance of the dice when you get these things done? |

Unless you buy precision milled dice.. ie like Casino dice. Then all dice will have some biase to them. As all other dice are moulded on a sprue, clipped off and then put into a rock tumbler to round the endges and remove the over paint, leaving the paint in the lettering/motife. The result is, they are not evenly balances or accurately balanced in any way. They all have a preference. Casino dice are milled to 1/5000th of an inch tolerance by law.. most are made to 1/10,000th of an inch tolerance, by comparison to our cheapy dice bunged into a rock tumbler. Having a custom design, till likley only increase the inconsistancy, depending of course on its size, depth, and volume of material it requires to be removed from the dice. |
