Had a chance to solo a refight of 1849 battle of Goojerat using "Wargaming the 19th Century" by Neil Thomas.

Nice report!

Reading it, I'm struck with the feeling that the Sikhs did not have a real chance of winning the battle. Did the Company play very skillfully, or were the Sikh's just unlucky?

My go to set for Sikh War is Volley and Bayonet, but looking at your pictures and reading your recap, Neil's rules look to give a good game.

Nice write-up! I am building up my 10mm Risorgimento armies for Neil's 19th Century rules. How long did your battle last? Any glaring holes in the rules?

Nice Battle Report! I really enjoyed your thoughtful comparison of the two rule sets at the end. Thanks for posting!
