For some reason, I keep being tempted to do a Pike army (probably something Successor) using Tin Soldier. Yes, I know.. stunted dwarves, but they do have character, and I have seen some really good looking armies when they are well painted. So I went browsing.. to discover that if I buy them through Essex Australia, they cost A$7.95 a pack, but via Tin Soldier UK, sells them at 2GBP a pack.. about A$3.06 or in other words about 40& of the price! (and theoretically, they should also refund the UK Value Added Tax, making them even cheaper in comparison.) I wouldn't mind, but aren't Tin Soldier made in Australia? |

I don't know where they are made, but I found it was cheaper for me to order them from UK than from the distributor here in the US. Enough of a difference that I ordered from UK |

I think the range paint up great, I've got Rep Romans, Cartho's and heaps of Celts
.oh and medievals come to think of it. They all still hold up well I think. Here's a couple of pics of some Romans ( not great photo's )

I have a soft spot for Tin Soldier. I love their Aztecs as well. If you like them, buy them. They don't mix with other ranges at all but they do have character! I still think the face work of the Tin Soldier Aztecs is amazing. Truly remind me of the Aztec features
