You can watch old and new Gettysburg battlefield walks on PCNTV.com. Penn residents can watch on cable providers, all can watch on line at link then on right side click on- watch now. I look at these every year at this time. Glad to see new programs.

Got a 404 error old boy.

I have recorded them for a bunch of years, then listen to them later while painting. Most of the park rangers are good presenters, though I don't care for the two guys who spend most of their time showing photos.

I was watching one on the Bliss Farm last night. Very interesting and informative!

Thats the one I wanted to see but only made 1/2 before I called it a night. Looking for a repeat today but Verizons preveiw isn't helping today in not mentioning which episode is on at what time.

The Bliss farm one is good. I caught it just after I had read the great book on that part of the battle by Elwood Christ (IIRC).

Late to this, but it is like Waterloo, you have to walk it, when it is bucketing down in Belgium. Or then July in Pennsylvania, with warnings not to to go outdoors, as the temp is seriously highly dangerous.

We have done it, two of our three sons and a very, very, patient wife. As a Waterloo total fanatic, I have to admit that you gents over the Pond are far, far, better at respecting your heritage. Gettysburg (once) beats the field of Waterloo (only been there three times and desperate to go back) any day.

I blame the Belgians, from the early years after the battle and that awful mound, to the dreadful museum now. How I wish we could cross the Pond now, but it seems there has been some kind of virus thing……plus our airports are in absolute chaos over here.

Scott Hartwig is great. Years ago, my reenactment battalion, the Mifflin Guard, did several programs with him where we 'drafted' the spectators and formed them into companies and battalions using our NCOs and officers to command them. Then they accompanied the Guard on the ranger walk, following the path of certain brigades during the battle and recreating their formations and movements.
