Should every post on TMP have a clearly labelled WARGAME COMPONENT?

See example: TMP link

Personally, I'm not that fussed at reading things here with little or no connection with wargames but it's good to give people a say.

Not just topic, but every single post? Even the ones on TMP Plus, the off-topic forum?

The Tin Dictator28 Jun 2012 9:33 p.m. PST

Yes

Dear Mr Dictator,
So where is your label? After all, if a law doesn't apply to one, then to whom does it apply?

ochoin deach29 Jun 2012 12:04 a.m. PST

Point! Robby.

WARGAME COMPONENT; reference to the famous"wargamer's point".

Yesthatphil29 Jun 2012 2:57 a.m. PST

The proportion of threads I read has certainly gone down. Few seem to offer any wargaming content.

SECURITY MINISTER CRITTER29 Jun 2012 6:04 a.m. PST

No wargame component!

Even Big Busty Babes website has pictures of small busted women now and then!

I really don't expect every topic to be all wargame all the time, so why should you? My best advice is get over it, or start you own site!

WARGAME COMPONENT

No.

What Phil said.

Keep the wargaming stuff on the wargaming boards and all the non wargaming on the plus boards.

Otherwise why do we have the division? It is probably the only division we actually do need.

Rrobbyrobot29 Jun 2012 7:02 a.m. PST

Here's a thought. This is called The Miniatures Page. So why restrict ourselves to wargaming topics?
I once ran into a guy in a hobby shop that made miniatures. He was not a wargamer. He started with a wire armature and proceeded to sculpt a figure. Talk about scratch building! His work was art. No better name for it. Shouldn't he be welcome Here? I know I learned alot from him.

Dear Mr Dictator,
So where is your label? After all, if a law doesn't apply to one, then to whom does it apply?

You should not try to understand it. Besides, its not a law, its more like a guideline.

See, There is no limit to the depths I am willing to allow my hypocrisy to go.

Karpathian03 Jul 2012 6:37 p.m. PST

Although I often like "irrelevant" threads/posts, it is interesting to notice that wargames/figure etc threads tend to get the most traffic.
This trend could denote many of us share an interest in the topic of miniatures and gaming. Surprise.
