space nazis, they are the worst kind, cool minis.

Mooseworks828 Jun 2012 6:16 a.m. PST

Cool

Moqawama28 Jun 2012 11:08 a.m. PST

I doubt that even a very ideologically-driven organization of a fascist kind would have its member wear gaudy crimson party armbands over a combat uniform which, by way of necessity, has to be as drab as possible…that said the miniatures are cool and nicely painted!

:D

republic of tolworth28 Jun 2012 11:13 a.m. PST

True, but it does help to break up the wave of drab that is NF and SF kit.

Space Nazis would, just 'cause they can!

BlackWidowPilot Fezian28 Jun 2012 1:46 p.m. PST

Nazis? In Space?!! Why, how ever thoughtful of Eureka to combine my favorite extremist ideology to hate and despise with my favorite wargaming genre (sci-fi)?!evil grin

What a splendid cadre of high tech genocidal scum and villainy you've got there, Sentient Bean!evil grin

Gonna have to get me some down the road, as my growing Imperial Terran Marine brigade and my JTFB are in need of another op-for besides the garden variety hordes of xenomorphic homophages…evil grin

McWong7328 Jun 2012 4:59 p.m. PST

Nice work there.

I don't mind the hippie nazi's so much. Sure, they're full of hate and extremist ideals, but they're too stoned to really do anything about it. :)

Nice paint job, I really like the bases, makes it look like they are on patrol.

BlackWidowPilot Fezian28 Jun 2012 7:27 p.m. PST

Finns… I'll paint them as Finns… Mwahahaahahaaa!!!evil grin

BWP, where did you find that picture of Finns?

BlackWidowPilot Fezian29 Jun 2012 3:01 p.m. PST

Google image search, keywords "Finnish army helmet."

During the Winter War and WW2/The Continuation War the Finns used a number of different helmets including the M1915 Stahlhelm of Great War vintage. Helmets were worn primarily by sentries, gun crews, and when fighting from fixed positions.

BTW, another user of the Stahlhelm – M1935 to be specific- was the KMT Chinese Army during the late 1930s:

So Taiwanese elite troops, or Finns….

This is along the lines of a Sturmtruppen colour scheme I imagine.
Also has a free soundtrack.

Or Irish troops. Their stahlhelms were made by Vickers.

And the Hungarians.

Lots of troops who don't have to be Nazis.

deflatermouse30 Jun 2012 3:19 a.m. PST

Space Irish!!

Now that bring images to mind similar to Scottish Star Trek or Scottish Star Wars. Laddie.

Scorpio30 Jun 2012 6:16 a.m. PST

I recently received a number of the Eureka Space Nazis as a gift from a generous amigo. Wondering what kind of background I can come up with for them. Pondering calling them the 44th Reach (instead of Reich) and having them be the equivalent of space hippies.

Gunner Dunbar18 Jul 2012 2:52 a.m. PST

Just ordered a platoon plus support, like those Finns, might do Finns in Space myself.

Golan207218 Jul 2012 3:03 a.m. PST

Good vehicles for them:
