Does anyone know if the BIA wore green/brown khaki like the BEF and New Armies, or a stone-colour North-West Frontier colour?

They arrived in their Khaki Drill, just as they would have worn on the NWF, and continued with this for the first months of their deployment. Khaki serge uniforms did not arrive until December 1914. They retained their leather Pattern '03 equipment throughout the War.
