No. The accepted way to "kill" a zombie is to blow its brains out. So, by that definition, Roland could not be a zombie. |

I was going to say "yes", but I changed my mind, thanks to the erudite and pithy arguments above. |

No. Zombies don't use firearms. But he was Norway's bravest son. |

I'm going to be contrary and say YES. He can't have been a ghost because he carried a thompson gun. He doesn't seem to have been invovled in any vamparic frenzies. He did seem to stump around South Africa looking for his nemesis. Is that zombie like single minded behaviour ? Or something else ? I think he was an atypical zombie – a zombie(S) in WRG speach. |

No. He was a revanent, or maybe a barrow wight. |

I can't believe mad monkey 1 said almost exactly what I was going to say. "Revenant" is the correct term. |

Agreed. A revenent. And he's still out there. And why has no one ever done a figure of him? |

Should be a pretty easy conversion

I was thinking revenant before I clicked. Revenge from beyond the grave. |

Did he use a stick or drum magazine? |

I always imagined stick – less cumbersome. |
