We have added some preview images to the forums of the Merc Heavy Armour we will be releasing along with shots of the Astagar Power Armour. link link No definate release for these as of yet, as some of you already know some of our moulds went missing via a courier and this has led to some delays in our schedule. We are hoping to be back on track soon and have these out in the last Quarter of 2012. And don't forget our 20% off Sale is still running until July 22nd. Read more here criticalmassgames.com |

Hello Critical Mass I'm constructing another force for Hammer's Slammers The Crucible and I'm interested in the non tracked version of the Warmonger for the project. Any idea what length the item is (hull wise)? John Treadaway hammers-slammers.com |

Turrets on the superheavies appear to be a little small compared to the gun, especially the way they pyramid up like that. Also looks like the guns wouldn't be able to depress at all because when they are level they are more or less flush with the turret roof. Can you heighten the turret roof a bit, and maybe lessen the upward slope of the turret sides? Think that would improve realism a bit. (Stretch goal -- to give the guns more of an indication in the design that they can elevate. ) |

I have some samples – they are very nice models, I have to say. Big, but very nice. Well cast (both metal components and resin) and well designed with no moulding flaws I could find. Not one. Fit was good, too: two piece moulds for the most part (I'm guessing) with a moulding lug to the rear of the turret that needs snipping off and the base of the vehicle hull – tracks already in place – being pre-sanded to sit flat. They're cast in a nice, mid/dark grey resin. Particulalrly impressive was that the metal barrels – even the very (very) long barrel on the "Vanquisher" Artillery Tank was straight and quite round (ie not bent, flattened or covered in mould lines). So – good quality, nicely designed, big resin! John T |

John T with a moulding lug to the rear of the turret that needs snipping off and the base of the vehicle hull I actually took care when doing this and saved as much of the resin lug from the Vanquisher (SPG) as I could. With a bit of judicious remodelling it's going to become a stabilizing blade for the SPG. I thought fitting the barrel was going to be a pain in the proverbial, but a couple of thicknesses of thin plasticard hold it in place really well. Picked up the AA and SPG versions and after having done so the warmonger tanks have been added to the buy list. Another vote for the design and quality. Andy H |
