Hi all,

Over the weekend we were testing out the Transparent TubeTool from Masq-Mini, designed for making power cables, tentacles and similar conversion parts for your minis. It actually worked really well and so we can't wait to make up a load of cables for our Adeptus Mechanicus army.

The full review & guide is here:

Couple of sample pics:

Anyone else tried this out already? Think of any other good uses for the cables?

A very simple but elegant design.

I have the first resin ones, that aren't too shabby. I take it the transparent ones makes things easier to see as you're rolling?

Think of any other good uses for the cables?

Much the same as you: going mad with AdMech. grin

Thanks for the replies, glad you guys found the review useful, remember you can follow us on twitter/facebook to keep up to date on our projects.

@ WarrenB – Yes thats the idea of the transparent ones so you can be more accurate as you can see how your cables are forming as you work with the material. Look forward to seeing your Ad mech!

What a cool little idea for making tentacles or even tendrils…

Does anyone else carry this product for USA?
C'mon? Atenocities?
Warstore?
I know of battlefield Berlin

Looks like a great bit of kit.
Assuming you're making a lot of cables and you don't like brass picture wire or string or twine or thick wool thread.

Well

I ordered nearly 2 weeks ago. Ive sent two emails asking for a dispatch time and not a single reply. I'm happy to wait if I'm kept informed, however it really really annoys me when I don't even get a response

As soon as I open my big mouth….

I get an email explaining the delay and they are on the way…

which is nice

That is so ridiculously clever.

This roller does look like an old victoria pill maker. Have to look at getting one of these.
