Armand,

Posting these without proper attribution is not only bad manners, it may be improper use of intellectual property.

The photos posted were from Uwe's excellent blog, "History in 1/72", and may be seen in their original context here:

The pictures were taken by Uwe of a diorama of flats in the Zinnfigurenmuseum Katzelsdorf, south of Vienna. This is actually the second series of photos that Uwe has displayed of the "Vienna 1683" diorama. Uwe's original post, which shows many more photos and much more detail of this incredible diorama may be found here:

I know that you usually provide at least links to your "sources" Armand, and would hope that this was simply an oversight.

Dear Bill, if you know or are in touch with Uwe, ask him if he had any problem with that.

Uwe is my friend from many years ago and I'm sure he had not problem at all if I post ANY about his beautifull page here or in another forum.

I had talked about that many times with him in the past.
He had no time or do not feel to post in forums a time ago, but he had no problem with me to share his works in any forum.

About my "sources" you mention, I don't understand very well what you want to said.

I had no "sources", I only post what I consider of possible interest.

Hope I could clarify the subject well.

Armand,

I have corresponded with Uwe in the past, and I'm not aware of any problem that he might have. My problem was in not providing a link or at least proper attribution to Uwe for his excellent photography and post.

As to my comment regarding "sources", these are the various web sites and blogs from which you pull your material. It is always good form to provide the readers here with either a direct link or at least mention the source in your comments.

You are right Bill, my fault for forget to post Uwe link.

If you read some of my threads, I had post dozens of his works, photos etc and always point his page.

But in this ocation I forget to do that.

By the way, if you had the ocation to speak with him in the next days, said to him that I'm sending by courrier the Historical Argentine movies he asked me.

Aphologies again.
