about half of the ships here are now clickable and it brings up lots of minis pictures (mostly unpainted primed) as well as control cards for ACTA! Now we need to convince him to do Vaygr ships as well…

Very nice, been following that project since he first mentioned it over on SCN. I'd be all over those if he was doing it as a business, but the "available when they're available" thing is a little off-putting to me. I'm sure he's trustworthy and his figs look top-notch, but I wish he'd just arrange with his caster to sell them direct and handle order fulfillment for him.

They are nice enough that people should "get em while they are hot"!

If you notice on the individual ships they now have individual prices!

The Super Heavy Battleship (SHBB) is especially tasty.

Very nice, but is it me or do we not find out how much they cost until we put them in a shopping cart?

It is not just you.

Some do have prices listed (for instance on the SHBB it states "£12.00 including Turrets:" right above the add to cart button.)

My sense is this is his first time putting together a site and he's working through the process a bit.

What's pretty cool is that the SHBB at bottom is right at the same length as Zandris IV's "Dreadnaught" so you could conceivably build a Hiigaran and Vaygr-ish fleet to fight them!

I want these so badly now. I LOVE homeworld 2. It's 10 years old and it's still the game I play the most. Always has been and probably will be for a long time. So long as I can get it to work on whatever new operating system…. I will play it…and playing it on the table top would only be icing on the cake.

Although, seems he classed all of these totally wrong. Off the top of my head, that "Cruiser" is the Destroyer. All of the Destroyer classes are Frigates. I wonder if we'll see bombers, interceptors and fighters down the road. All those ships and not a single strike craft to support them…. oh yummy bomber targets.

There are 30 odd ship types iirc and they needed to have 'working' designations to fit specific fleet construction rules i.e. capital ships must have escorts, only certain ships have Flag bridges, specific types of escorts for certian roles. (The H2 names are odd anyway as they have a "destroyer" as on of the largest, most powerful 'Capital' ships!)

There are fighters, bombers, heavy fighters and stealth fighter models. I believe they will be out alongside the first carrier (the CV).

It might be worth waiting until Tim has put out all of the ship-cards and the fleet construction rules as that gives a bigger, better overview of the fleet designations. I also did counters for all of the hiigaran ships in the list, to play without the physical models. I dont know what happened to those.

As he is doing it all part-time, and they have a few-month old baby in the house I imagine it is taking him some time to get things out, he's pretty much doing it all himself as a hobby.

Prices now added to the website.
Dimensions of all ships will be updated as soon as I can.
Next set of ships will NOT be extra Hiigaran, I will do a starter fleet for Vaygyr.
I updated the introduction and removed comments about stock only being what I have to hand. I am now casting each weekend, so will have more stock and can fulfill all orders within 2 weeks.

Hmm, sounds like it's morphed into a more steady business now. Good news.

This is good news. I wouldn't be able to "jump" on these but I can certainly pick some up over time. Also, not knowing if they had a future or not was a bit of a deterrent to ordering. I just didn't want to get stuck with one or two ships and nothing for the rest of the fleet.
