Just noticed that, as well as Terry Crowdy's title 'Incomparable', coming out in September, as already mentioned in another post, it looks as though Osprey will also be producing a Peninsula War title in the same month, namely, 'Oldest Allies-Alcantara 1809' by Rene Chartrand. This title is about the action that took place in 1809. Could be a good sign for the future. Here's hoping. |

Looks like Rene Chartrand might be bringing out a series covering various actions of the Peninsular War. Besides the Alcantara title he is also bringing out one on Talavera 1809. But the publication date on Amazon is shown as 2013! Still, something to look forward to. |

Marcus Maximus Shame about the long wait for some of the coming Napoleonic titles, but nice to know there are quite a few that will be becoming available, eventually, including Alex's 1812 Russian History and Atlas. |
