Nifty. I have an original Marx "Untouchables" set and I don't recognize some of the poses in your game. Did you do some conversions? What are you using to keep the paint from peeling and chipping? Where did you get the 54mm cars? |

Some of my police are knock-off or common police you can buy now in bags of figs at WalMart. I keep paint on my figures with future floor wax acrylic and paint. The 54mm cars are available in stores and around ebay. Whenever I run across a car that would work for my games I pick them up. These have been collected over 5-10 years. |

The "Untouchables" figure poses were some of the most inspired that Marx produced. I noticed that the gangster pulling the shotgun out of the golf bag was killed early on in your game. The gangster pointing his gun down at the guy he has just killed is great too. The set was only on sale for a year, so, as you probably already know, it's very scarce. I've seen the Mexican knock-off figures. They're pretty good. Too bad someone couldn't reproduce the tin litho brewery. It looks great with the figures. |

I bought a bunch of die cast cars with the intention of gaming 54mm gangster actions, but I have been having trouble finding figures. The Marx stuff on ebay costs way more than I want to spend, so the project has been dormant for the last year or two. |

There's a set of pewter colored recasts on EBay right now. Starting price $8.99 USD. Be sure to ask if any of the figures are mis-molded or broken. I would avoid the red and yellow re-casts as some appear to have the tips broken off their guns. Look under Marx Untouchables. |
