alcal5023 Jun 2012 2:17 a.m. PST

Sorry cant give colour specifics i used Humbrol,GW and Vellejo and even then mixed the colours for tone changes.

Im presuming you mean the rich blues and not the grey blues of the tunics and trousers of these there are approx twenty different shades .

Cheers AL

Oh, very fine indeed! Nice looking table besides.

If they roll dice as well as they look you will have a great army there.

Chortle Fezian23 Jun 2012 6:48 a.m. PST

Wow, incredible work. Are those Renegade ECW figures?

Jonathan J23 Jun 2012 7:03 a.m. PST

Really nice, I love the amount of variety in the units and the paintwork is very well done! Thanks for sharing the pics, makes me kind of ashamed of my 15mm scots covenanters.

Maxshadow23 Jun 2012 7:02 p.m. PST

My God! We're killing Teddy Bears to create our gaming tables now?

Just kidding, it looks great.

Alcal I love your work – we have just decided to do 6 units of Coventeers and this will be one of my main resources – thanks againt for sharing
hope to show you some of our work very soon
(still working on the Irish and just finished the main ECW combatants)

GNREP827 Aug 2012 10:03 a.m. PST

Beautiful paint job but I do notice that one of the units appears to have a priest in a cassock in the ranks with a crucifx – not something that I think the Committee of the Army would tolerate!

Midpoint27 Aug 2012 11:43 a.m. PST

Looks fantastic! I need to dust off the ECW collection…

alcal5031 Aug 2015 11:52 a.m. PST

M8 gave me a warband so I decided to add a few more bits to the army.

The clergyman in pic #5 looks a wee bit Papist, but otherwise what a fantastic army – well done.

OldGlory Andy01 Sep 2015 7:10 a.m. PST

Nice work Dude The formations look fine to me – a bit of depth for a change insted of linear warfare with a few pikes added.

jambo101 Sep 2015 10:05 a.m. PST

A true inspiration sir!! Lovely work.

alcal5001 Sep 2015 10:37 a.m. PST

Thanks guys
Yeh the ocasional monk/priest isn't historically correct but in my gaming world he`s ok.
Cheers AL

Probably a Jesuit – they get everywhere. "Cheer-leading" an army of dour "wee frees" would not be beyond them.
