GLM, this is a kid's toy called "silly putty". Very useful for masking, doesn't destroy the paint. Becareful of some ultra cheap stuff, some are quite bad chinese copies that are a mess to work with.

I broke down and bought a SdKfz 251/21 at my FLGS, and ordered two more. Mine probably won't look as nice as yours, though!

thanks for the appreciation, quite some thoughts went into these. The most difficult part is to keep faith until the final layer of varnish for the contrasts :-)
