Monsterpocalypse is a kaiju miniatures skirmish game. You and your opponent fight in a city using monsters and supporting units. The first player to destroy the other's monster wins. The Battlebox comes with everything you need to play.

That's great they are coming out with a set like that. I bought all my stuff from online dealers who sold singles, and occasionally blind in the boxes just for the fun of it. I think it cost me about $40 USD per army.

It's a great game all around. It'd be wonderful if army boxes like this give Monpoc some new life.

Is this a new thing? I thought I bought one of those years ago.

It is not new. I think it came out in 2010.

If I didn't have pretty stocked Planet Easters and S.H.I.E.L.D. forces already I'd totally try these out. Risking getting doubles of the Rise stuff would be unwise.
