We have used crusader publishing's rank and file before, with their ACW supliment. But on this occasion we used Black Powder by Warlord games. It works very well in 6mm, and allows a lot of tweaks to show troop variations. Just changed inch ranges to cm's. Would recommend both. The train and tracks are produced by Irregular miniature I believe. The water butts are scratch built. I like these a lot, they add something to the look of the table. Hope that helps. |

As the commander of the Confederate left wing I found it a very visually appealing game, even if my attempts to develop my attack met with an initially dismal lack of success (a classic case of inverted dice – roll high and fail to pass on orders roll low and fail to score hits on the opposition
Still a good game though.. |

Believe it or not but photo's taken on a phone camera. Just shows how technology marches on. But thank you. |

Wonderful stuff! I was pretty sure I wanted Total Battles stuff for my ACW project. Now I know I do. |
